Witch
The "Becoming of a Witch" animation is designed to serve as a versatile asset, functioning as a title screen, loading screen, or character introduction scene. Drawing inspiration from the Greek goddess Hecate, this character embodies elements of mysticism and power. This project represents a significant milestone in my artistic journey, as I sought to elevate my 2D work beyond static images. Motivated by the rapid advancements in digital illustration, I embraced this challenge to dedicate time to learning and practising new animation and VFX techniques that I have admired and wished to incorporate into my own work.

Process
01 Concept
Reproducibility of the goddess of Greek mythology: Hecate.
02 Create Workflow
After the final character illustration was completed, I wanted to have a dynamic version for making dynamic card designs or wallpapers, so I added motion part to the workflow.
03 Create thumbnail
For this project, I focused more on the final dynamic illustration. I chose to start with line works, which would facilitate the selection of final illustration elements to better fit the character.

06 Working on PSD File Layer Separation
I usually prepare a document to record and organize the entire animation production process before starting motion work. This helps me conceive the motion animation more clearly when doing layered work.
